Position Description

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Field service, maintenance, and repair of car wash systems and equipment including in-bay equipment, entry systems, control systems, and pay stations
  • Safely perform repairs or installations in construction/commercial settings, which includes working on ladders, operating equipment, and performing basic lockout/tag out procedures and other OSHA r’qmts
  • Safe operation of company-provided vehicles and equipment
  • Effectively communicate issues, resolutions, and priorities in a customer-facing role
  • Complete service orders, and time/expense forms as required
  • Perform preventative maintenance with task prioritization and follow-up communication to assure operational needs are met and value is delivered
  • Exercise patience while developing and maintaining relationships
  • Ability to prioritize issues and manage time effectively

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies

  • Must pass DOT physical and drug test
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Some mechanical or construction trades experience
  • A safe driving record and mechanical aptitude is required
  • Willingness and ability to learn and computer skills are required
  • A winning attitude, ability to work autonomously and within a team

Chemical Applications Sales Specialist

Position Description

Support and grow regional car wash cleaning product business via delivery and application management of our cleaning and finishing product line. This position will be directly responsible for the delivery and service of car wash cleaning products and applications in addition to sales and territory growth opportunities.

This position requires attention to detail and the ability to physically move products up to 50 lbs. The specialist will follow a checklist of inspection items to ensure the carwash is functioning as intended and communicating any issues or opportunities for improvement to management, ownership, and the support team, utilizing mobile computing for a variety of apps to view and enter data. In addition, sales related activities will also be a key segment of this position with a focus on driving new customers to ASI’s chemical programs, as well as developing opportunities for equipment sales.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Safe transport, delivery and application of chemicals
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Effective and persistent communication with team members, existing and potential customers
  • Inventory Management
  • Ability to prioritize issues and manage time effectively
  • Site inspections and application troubleshooting
  • Completing work orders and service reports both manually and electronically
  • Utilize general sales practices (training may be provided for qualified candidate)
  • Safely perform repairs which may include working on ladders, operating equipment, and performing basic lockout/tag out procedures and other OSHA requirements
  • Safe operation of company-provided vehicles and equipment
  • Upon successful completion of job training, cross-training to include field service, maintenance, and repair of car wash systems and equipment

  • Ability to obtain CDL with HazMat endorsement (paid training provided)
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds throughout the day

Controls Technician

Location:  New Prague, MN

Position Description

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Layout, drilling, punching tapping & mounting of components.
  • Effectively meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Keep manager informed of all significant problems, progress, or difficulties.
  • Demonstrate pride in workmanship and workplace cleanliness daily – keep workplace tidy.
  • Comply with routine inspections from governing body.
  • Conduct work in a safe manner following all safety guidelines as required.
  • Demonstrate and promote behavior consistent with ASI core values and policies.
  • Proper order fulfillment and inventory management.
  • Effectively direct work of self and others as required.
  • Review manuals and service bulletins to remain current on standard changes, additions, or modifications.

DeSIRED Qualifications & Competencies

  • Knowledge and good practice of electrical safety.
  • Understanding of low voltage AC & DC control circuits.
  • Understanding of high voltage power circuits.
  • Familiarity with electrical components and standards (UL, NEC, NEMA, IEC)
  • Ability to read schematics, drawings and have a good understanding of electrical and electronic symbols.
  • Basic computer skills and file structure. Connecting and printing various label systems.
